1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly to Wizideo, such as your name, email address, company details, billing details, support requests, and any information you choose to upload or share through the Service.
We also collect technical and usage data needed to operate the platform, such as IP address, browser type, device identifiers, session logs, feature usage, and pages visited inside our website and application. If you use our browser extension, we may also process supported meeting URLs, audio, video, captions, and related metadata in order to deliver real-time transcription and summarization features.
2. Meeting Content, Voice, and Workspace Data
When you use Wizideo to capture or process meetings, calls, interviews, or media files, we may process meeting titles, participants, transcripts, summaries, action items, timestamps, speaker labels, file metadata, and related workspace information.
To support features like speaker separation, our systems may analyze voice characteristics only for transcription quality and speaker distinction. We do not use this information to biometrically identify individuals.
This information is processed so that Wizideo can generate transcripts, summaries, automations, search results, and other workflow features requested by you or your organization.

We use personal data to provide and secure the Service, authenticate users, process payments, deliver product functionality, improve reliability, detect abuse, respond to support requests, and comply with legal obligations.
- operate your account and workspace,
- generate transcripts, summaries, and automations,
- send transactional messages such as login, billing, and service notices,
- analyze product performance and prevent fraud or misuse.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use private meeting content to train foundational AI models without explicit consent.

5. Data Sharing and Service Providers
We may share data with carefully selected subprocessors and service providers that help us host infrastructure, process payments, deliver communications, store files, or provide customer support. Those providers may only process data on our instructions and under contractual confidentiality and security obligations.
For AI processing workflows, we aim to apply strict retention controls and require vendors to handle meeting content only as needed to provide the requested service.
We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect our rights, to investigate abuse, or as part of a merger, financing, or acquisition involving Wizideo.
6. Data Protection, Security, and Retention
We apply technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal data against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure. These measures include encryption in transit, encryption at rest where appropriate, access controls, logging, and internal security reviews.
We retain personal data for as long as needed to provide the Service, maintain business records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Retention periods may vary depending on the type of account, workspace settings, and the nature of the data involved. When an account is deleted, associated personal data and meeting content are removed in accordance with our retention and deletion processes.
7. International Transfers and Your Rights
Wizideo may process data in countries other than the country where you are located. When we transfer personal data internationally, we use appropriate safeguards as required by applicable law.
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or export your personal data. You may also have the right to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. To exercise these rights, contact support@wizideo.ai.
