Is Wizideo GDPR compliant?

Yes. Wizideo acts as a data processor under Article 28 of the GDPR. We process data exclusively on the controller's instructions, maintain records of processing activities, and have a standard DPA ready to sign.

Where is my data stored?

All data is stored on servers located within the European Economic Area. We do not carry out international transfers without appropriate safeguards. If you use the BYO-S3 option, files remain in the infrastructure you choose.

Is my data used to train AI?

No. Your content — transcripts, recordings, and summaries — is never used to train any AI model, ours or third-party. We process it solely to deliver the service to you.

Can I use my own storage (BYO-S3)?

Yes. Business and Enterprise plans let you connect an S3-compatible bucket (AWS, Google Cloud, Cloudflare R2, etc.) so files are stored directly in your infrastructure. Wizideo only accesses them as needed for processing.

How do I sign a Data Processing Agreement?

The DPA is available on our legal documentation page. You can review it and request our signature at any time. For organisations with specific requirements, contact our sales team.

How does consent work when recording meetings?

Wizideo provides the recording and transcription infrastructure, but you are the data controller. You must obtain and document appropriate consent or legal basis from participants before recording. We recommend consulting your DPO or legal advisor to define the right approach for your context.
