Save Meeting Recordings to Dropbox

Wizideo processes your meetings and saves recordings, transcripts, and AI summaries to the Dropbox folder you choose — keeping your archive organised without lifting a finger.

Why Wizideo + Dropbox

What you get

Automatic file storage

When Wizideo finishes processing a meeting, it saves the recording file, transcript text, and AI summary to your designated Dropbox folder — no manual download and upload.

Organised folder structure

Files are saved with structured names (date, meeting title) so your Dropbox archive is easy to navigate months later.

Transcripts and summaries alongside recordings

Wizideo saves not just the audio or video file but also the full transcript and structured summary — everything needed to review a meeting is in one Dropbox location.

Works with existing Dropbox workflows

Because files land in Dropbox, they are immediately available to any other tool or automation connected to that Dropbox folder — edit in Dropbox Paper, share with teammates, or trigger downstream workflows.

Setup

Get started in 4 steps

Connect Dropbox once and let Wizideo handle the rest.

  1. Connect Dropbox from Wizideo integrations settings

Go to Settings → Integrations in Wizideo and connect your Dropbox account. Choose the root folder where meeting files should be saved.

  2. Record or upload your meeting

Capture the meeting via the Wizideo Chrome extension, desktop app, or by uploading a file. Wizideo transcribes and generates the AI summary.

  3. Wizideo saves files to Dropbox automatically

Once processing completes, Wizideo uploads the recording, transcript, and summary to your Dropbox folder. A confirmation link appears in the Wizideo dashboard.

  4. Access your archive from anywhere

Open Dropbox on any device to find the meeting files. Share the folder link with stakeholders or connect it to downstream tools.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Which Dropbox plan do I need to use the Wizideo integration?

The Wizideo integration works with any Dropbox plan that supports third-party app connections, including Dropbox Basic (free), Plus, Professional, and Business.

Can I choose a different Dropbox folder for different meeting types?

Yes. You can configure the destination folder per Wizideo folder or tag — for example, 'sales calls' to one Dropbox path and 'team syncs' to another.

What file formats does Wizideo save to Dropbox?

Wizideo saves the original recording file (MP4, MP3, or the original upload format), a plain-text transcript (.txt), and the AI summary (.txt or .md, configurable).

Is the data encrypted when saved to Dropbox?

Files are transferred over HTTPS and stored using Dropbox's own encryption. Wizideo does not cache a separate copy after the upload is confirmed.

Is the Dropbox integration available on the free plan?

The Dropbox integration is available on the Pro plan ($10/user/month) and above. You can test it during the free trial period.
